Job Opportunity: Psychotherapist (Transgender and Gender Diverse Youth & Adults)

Full Spectrum Creative Arts Therapy is a dedicated group practice that specializes in providing therapeutic support for transgender and gender diverse youth and adults. We offer a range of services, including in-person and remote weekly sessions for individuals, couples, relationships, and families. As our practice continues to grow, we are looking to expand our team of skilled clinicians who are passionate about serving transgender and gender diverse communities.
Position Overview: We are currently seeking experienced psychotherapists to join our team. Ideal candidates will have significant experience providing direct clinical care to transgender and gender diverse individuals across the lifespan, including youth. As part of our supportive and collaborative team, you will receive regular individual consultation, along with weekly team meetings that foster ongoing professional development and shared expertise.
Our team has a strong presence in the field, proudly presenting this past September at the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) conference in Lisbon, Portugal, and with a collaborative book chapter in publication. Position Details:

Flexible part-time and full-time positions available

Up to 3% SIMPLE IRA retirement matching upon qualification

4 weeks of paid time off for full-time employees

$250/month contribution to QSHERA (healthcare) for full-time employees

$500/year continuing education fund for full-time employees
Compensation packages will be tailored to licensure status and demonstrated expertise in serving transgender and gender diverse populations. Per-session fee-for-service (FFS) rates range between $65-$100/session. Full-time employees are paid using a salary/FFS hybrid model that predicts a yearly wage between 70-95K. This position is eligible for seasonal bonuses.
Qualifications:

Extensive experience providing clinical care to transgender and gender diverse youth and adults, including familiarity with the WPATH Standards of Care, Version 8

Deep commitment to cultural humility and inclusivity

Full NYS licensure in good standing (no permit holders)

Excellent writing, documentation, and clinical record-keeping skills

Enthusiasm for working collaboratively in a team-oriented practice
